Today we remember VE Day, Victory in Europe Day.
Marking the end of World War II in Europe on May 8, 1945.

It’s a day to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served and gave so much in the fight for freedom and peace. We reflect on the resilience of a generation that endured unimaginable hardship, and we give thanks for the peace that followed.

As we remember, we also recommit ourselves to the values they fought for: unity, justice, and lasting peace.

Lest we forget.
